Paul J. Capotorto
Paul J. Capotorto is a member of the firm's Insurance Defense department which actively represents various self-insured national corporations and more than 15 national and regional insurance companies in defense of personal injury, general liability, contractors liability, toxic tort and products liability suits. He also devotes a portion of his professional practice to representing insurance companies and corporations in Toxic Tort Litigation. Among Mr. Capotorto's clients are and have been State Farm Insurance Company, Travelers Insurance Company, First Trenton Insurance Company, Scottsdale Insurance Co., L & H Plumbing Supply, and other numerous national insurance companies. Mr. Capotorto is a Municipal Court Judge for Brielle Borough.
In the Criminal Law practice, he has been chosen Municipal Prosecutor for Brielle Borough and was Assistant Prosecutor for Sea Girt and South Belmar Boroughs. He has previously served as Public Defender for the Borough of Brielle and the former Prosecutor of the Borough of Somerville and Raritan Township.
Mr. Capotorto is a Certified Superior Court Mediator in negotiations and collective bargaining. He has served as a board member to the Brielle Board of Adjustment since 1992-2000.
Mr. Capotorto is a member of the New Jersey State Bar and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
