Janet Kalapos Corrigan
Janet Kalapos Corrigan is a member of the firm's insurance defense department which actively represents various self insured national corporations and more than 15 national and regional insurance companies in defense of automobile, general, contractors, and liability claims.
Ms. Corrigan has an extensive knowledge of Personal Injury Protection law including claims involving application of the fee schedule, care paths, usual customary and reasonable fees, medical necessity, precertification, and coordination of benefits. Over the course of her career she has handled hundreds of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) disputes as filed in the NAF, AAA and Superior Court. She is personally responsible for all PIP filings in this office to insure timeliness and proper application of the law. Other areas of practice include: Bodily Injury Claims, UM/UIM, Coverage, and Insurance Defense.
Ms. Corrigan was graduated from Rutgers University. She completed her legal education at Hofstra University. Following law school, Ms. Corrigan was selected to serve as an appellate law clerk to the Honorable James W. Coleman, a retired New Jersey Supreme Court Justice.
Ms. Corrigan is a member of the New Jersey State and Ocean County Bar Associations.
